ABCollege triumphs in 9th National Science Quest

The Andres Bonifacio College was triumphant in the 9th National Science Quest held last February 10-12, 2012 at the Teacher’s Camp in Baguio City as two pupils from its Elementary Department were declared national champions in their respective categories while three others made it to the top ten.

Mr. Adcil Vic B. Tagulo and Ms. Maedy R. Tepacia received gold medals in the Sci-Dama (Water Patrol)-Grade IV Category and Science Quiz-Grade VI Category, respectively. Tagulo and Tepacia received the distinction of being National Champions in the said categories. The other medallists are Anne Margarette A. Cabalida who was declared 2nd Runner-up in the Science Quiz Grade IV Category while Kei N. Matinong and Willa Mae J. Villagracia placed 5th Runners-up in the Science Quiz-Grade III and Science Quiz-Grade VI categories, respectively. Mrs. Rothel P. Laranjo and Mrs. Lucille B. Tagulo, both faculty members of the Elementary Department, supervised and guided the winning team.

It can be remembered that in the Regional Science Competition held last January 6-8, 2012 in Zamboanga City, the College had a total haul of 13 medals which made the Institution the official representative of Region IX to the 9th National Science Quest.

The Andres Bonifacio College, in its unending quest for excellence, has been winning numerous awards and distinctions in the regional and national levels. It has been recognized many times over as one of the best schools in the country  based on the results from the Professional Regulation Commission. Just recently, the Commission on Higher Education once again commended the Andres Bonifacio College for its outstanding performance in the December 2011 Nursing Licensure Examination in which the College obtained the highest passing percentage of 69.86%  among nursing schools in Region IX, thus maintaining its status as the best nursing school in the region.
