SBME Bags first ABCollege Debate

The clan of soon-to-be enterpreneurs of the School of Business Management Education emerged as  champion against the College of Arts and Sciences during the First ABCollege Inter-Departmental-Debate last November 27,  2009 at the Audio- Visual Room of the Science and Technology Building.

The question at stake was,” Is Former President Joseph E. Estrada legible or not legible to run for presidency?”, bearing  the proposition that it has been resolved that former President Joseph E. Estrada is not eligible to run for presidency.

The affirmative team who believed that Former President Joseph E. Estrada is legible to run for presidency was represented by Cherry Mae Polinar, the SSG President Carrie Nizva Refugio and one of the SSG Senators Vincent Caboverde with their coach  Atty. Joseph  Lester Patay. The opposing team who assumed disqualification of the Former President for the position was embodied by SSG House Speaker Mary May Abellon, Lanie Lampasa and Melrod Jhon Gumalal with their coach, Mr. Roseller V. Reginan Jr.

After a bunch of clashing thoughts, fearless propositions and honorable acclaims the  affirmative team of the School of  Business  Management Education defeated the opposing team of the College of Arts and Sciences. The decision had been finally and fairly served. The affirmative team had provided strong evidences which justified the correctness of their commendation.

Ms. Cherry May Polinar of SBME, a small but definitely terrible contender, received two gold medals after she was adjudged during the conduct of the competition. She was deemed as the Best Debater. With her wide and collective knowledge you just can’t simply belittle her ability.

The Panel of Judges was constituted by Atty.James Verduguez, Retired Judge Eustolia Mata and Atty. Ephyro Amatong.
