Biazon graces AB College 69th Foundation Day

Senatorial candidate  Congressman Rozzano Rufino “Ruffy” B. Biazon of the Liberal Party addressed the AB College officials, guest, staff and students convoked at the  Amando B. Amatong Civic Center on November 30, 2009.

In his speech, Cong. Biazon inculcated in everyone’s mind that nobody has to  die to be hailed as a hero and dubbed  as the “Pag-asa ng Bayan”. We need to make a stand and become heroes of the new generation.

He showered the college with praises as he mentioned that based on his readings from the national papers, ABCollege is a school which raises new generation of heroes. If the other schools teach their students on how to be a Filipino, ABCollege teaches not only how to be a Filipino but also how to be equipped with the necessary skills to succeed through life with positive values and a vision.foundation4

Nevertheless, Biazon  envisioned  Andres Bonifacio’s life and used this to inspire his audience that even a man from a humble beginning can also outshine others, rise from the quagmire and can be an icon that this country can be proud of. He added that all have the potential to become  heroes.

Consequently, Biazon stressed that if we wanted to do right things then we should do things right. And the best way to start doing things right is by participating in the upcoming 2010 nationals elections.

He tried to instill into our minds that we are the only hope for a better governance  and that we must hold tightly to our principle and take into cognizance integrity and justice.

The 40-year old legislator earned his Bachelor of  Science degree in Zoology at the University of the Philippines and Bachelor of  Science in Medical Technology at the University of  Sto. Tomas. He has worked in the political arena for more than a decade now from being a chief of staff until his current position as a three- term congressman of the district of Muntinlupa.

“May pag-asa ang Bayan dahil sa inyo mga kabataan ng Andres Bonifacio College,” he concluded.
